500 Hours Yoga Teacher Training Course

This course is offered for those who have completed a 200 or 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. It offers the opportunity to advance your yogic practice and refine the learning and experience that you previously gained. Emphasis will be placed on the ancient teachings of yoga in its purest form which springs from the various traditional yogic scriptures. You will learn about many aspects of yoga that are not widely practiced such as kriya yoga, nada yoga, Swara yoga, and the benefits of mantra yoga. You will also deepen your understanding and experience of hatha yoga. The overall focus of the course is to demonstrate and experience different techniques of providing access to your inner world, and to be able to teach these to others for their total well-being. Upon completion of the course, you will be proficient at teaching all of these traditional aspects of yoga.
The syec Yoga Centre’s 500 -hour Teacher Training Course prepares students to not just be yoga teachers, but to live yoga in all areas of life. The teacher training course is about more than just learning how to teach a class. It is about understanding the teachings of the ancient traditions of yoga so they may be shared in any setting with all people. It offers a personal transformation in Nabadwip, the birthplace of yoga, and will prepare you for a yoga practice well beyond the yoga mat.
The syec Yoga Centre’s teacher training is designed to immerse students in the physical, mental, and spiritual states of yoga so they emerge as students and teachers of both a physical practice and personal wisdom.
